Olympic Torch visits Forest Pitch – 14th June 2012

I was delighted that the Olympic Torch made a wee detour from the main relay route to visit Forest Pitch on Thursday. Torch Bearer Tom Holligan (a 200m sprinter from Edinburgh) carried the torch through the woods onto the pitch, and took a couple of penalties before posing for some photos. A real honour to have the torch come to our site, having stopped off at so many iconic locations throughout the country….(photos by Angie Catlin)
